Create, Don't Just Consume
To get free, you must generate, not simply consume.
This is why there’s the term book-buddhist, or why self-help remains a billion-dollar business. Because reading alone, talking, for ninety-nine percent of us, has never cracked the code. Someone else’s map can point the way, but it can’t walk you there. It can’t sweat for you. It can’t build the muscle of awakening.
Simply consuming never produces enough heat to pop the kernel. That takes friction. That takes internal fire. That takes practice. Commitment. Effort even.
Inside each of us is the very thing we keep trying to buy or borrow: healing, gratitude, nourishment, joy, peace. Sometimes we taste it, and experience it - but it rarely lasts. And then we find a new book or person that has us hype and again, it fades. Why? Because we treat it like something to get, not something to grow, to create.
To sustain it, we must practice creating it.
The life you want is an inside-out model, the life capitalism and the world wants you to want is an outside-in model. This is the revolution: be a generator, not a consumer. Cultivate rather than collect. To make, rather than mimic.
That’s what abundance really is. Abundance isn’t accumulation, it’s overflow. It’s the natural spill that happens when you’re connected and aligned, when you’re in rhythm with your own enoughness. You can’t be abundant by getting and getting and getting. That’s a recipe for despair, for disconnection.
You become abundant by being. By being present. By being grateful. By being real.
We can be abundant because we already are.
You can know exactly what your worth is and still be wildly humble.
That’s the paradox of freedom. The more you remember who you are, the less you need to prove it.

A good formula for life is:
90% creation
10% consumption
