As in, I wish to be content, but to even think about being content reminds me that I am most certainly content for someones feed, or they are content for me.

Because content is everything right!? We should be posting 8 to 15 pieces of content Every Day according to serial entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk (every day!)! Maybe that will make us content. Here’s his guide to making 64 pieces of content in one day! (one day!) Because if you aren’t posting content 100 times a day you have already failed!

Is this why Spotify CEO Daniel Ek says that artists need to work harder, “You can’t record music once every three to four years and think that’s going to be enough, the artists that are making it realize that it’s about creating a continuous engagement and about keeping a continuous dialogue with your fans.”

Continuous engagement and continuous dialogue. Continuous. Is this why I can’t sleep at night and why I wake up with my stomach tied in knots, because I am not making enough content to be content? One of the many challenges of posting content on any platform is that it can start to feel like we’re all just putting stuff out there for the sake of posting. But at what cost? I know I’m not the only one here with anxiety-filled days and stressful nights. 

Society rhymes with Anxiety, I get it, but fuck!

More productivity, more busyness, more content, more more more - taking more from my physical and mental health than any check can give in return. 

More- more - more -more - more -
