Tension
Don't run from it
There’s a kind of beauty that only exists in tension - that space between what we want and what we fear, who we are and who we’re becoming. Tension is the flicker before the flame. The inhale before the truth. It’s the universe saying, stay here, don’t run, something is forming.
Living in tension means you’re alive enough to feel the stretch, brave enough to stand in the doorway before it becomes a room. Tension is the proof that two truths can live inside you at once. That you can long for rest and crave the hustle. Love someone and want to leave. Be soft and still carry thunder.
Tension is between what has been and what might be. Living in tension is a devotion. It’s choosing not to collapse into certainty or convenience. It’s holding the paradox with open hands.
The magic is that tension doesn’t close you; it opens you. It stretches your imagination, rewrites your stories, shows you what you didn’t know you were capable of carrying.
Most people run from tension. But the ones who can sit in / with it - they get access to insight, creativity, compassion, truth, and mostly the present moment.
Tension is the place where you meet yourself without your armor on. It’s the birthplace of the art, the story, the decision, the change.

pain is a shell that encapsulates a spark of light.
if you run away from the pain, you will never reveal the light.
rather, if you sit IN the pain, you will eventually reveal the light.
