I got to chat with Christine Olivia, the author of, Remember Your Roots, A Child of Magic, and many other children’s books. She is a cacao ceremonialist and a Mayan Spiritual Guide initiate. She focuses on ancestral healing, supporting body, mind, and soul connection. She also supports the creation and development of Indigenous cacao farms and women’s collectives in Guatemala and Mexico, where her lineages are from.

In this Liberation chat, we spoke about the importance of knowing where we come from, cacao and the three sisters - eating what our ancestors ate, and honoring whats in our blood.
